This evening just after we finished our last Santa run for 2025, your North Point - Edgemere Volunteer Fire Department volunteers responded to two incidents

The first was a reported chimney fire off Wise Ave the other was an over turned food truck in Fort Howard. Luckily, the chimney fire was nothing major. However the incident in Fort Howard caused hours worth of delays on a busy Friday evening. The good news is that no one was injured but due to the type of truck, load and the location it was time consuming to remove the vehicle safely to open the road. We appreciate those who cooperated with us.
