Around 9:45 last night, box 26-7 was alerted for a reported dwelling fire in the 2500blk of Maple Rd

North Point - Edgemere Volunteer Fire Department, September 19

North Point volunteers responded immediately with Engine 261 and Squad 262. E261 arrived first and reported heavy fire showing. Units went to work, using a 2.5” line for initial knockdown before transitioning inside. As more units arrived the fire was extinguished in short order. Some have newspapers framed. Some have a list of names. Some even have a piece of the World Trade Center in a memorial area inside or outside of the station. In many houses like ours, the Flag of Heroes hangs prominently.
